Subject: App is BROKEN - extremely frustrated

Hello,

I'm writing because I've had it with your Basecamp Rewards app. I've been a loyal customer for a year before this program launched, and I was excited to finally get rewarded for my patronage. But this app experience has been a nightmare.

Here's what happened this morning:
1. Opened the app to check my balance before ordering
2. App showed 127 points
3. Tried to scan at checkout - app crashed
4. Restarted the app - now shows 0 points
5. Barista scanned my physical card instead
6. App STILL shows 0 points three hours later

This is not the first time. Last week the app logged me out and wouldn't accept my password. The week before that, it kept freezing on the home screen. I've deleted and reinstalled twice.

I use apps all day for work. I'm not technologically illiterate. This app is just broken.

What I want:
1. Confirmation that my points (should be around 145 now with today's purchase) are safe
2. A timeline for when the app will actually work reliably
3. Some kind of compensation for the frustration - bonus points, a free drink, something

I love Basecamp's coffee. But this app is making me consider switching to the Starbucks across the street where at least the app works.
